Nutritious treats are the best way to spoil your pup, especially when they’re home made!
These Apple and Oat Pretzels are simple to make, enjoyable for dogs of all ages, and will make your house smell delicious.
This Is What You’ll Need
2 cups of Flour
1 cup of Rolled Oats
1 cup of Unsweetened Apple Sauce
1 Egg
Mixing Bowls
Spatula
Cookie Tray
Oven
Step 1
Measure 2 cups of flour and pour into the mixing bowl.

Step 2
Measure 1 cup of rolled oats and add them to the mixing bowl with the flour.

Step 3
Measure 1 cup of unsweetened applesauce, and add to the mixing bowl, along with the flour and the oats. Organic, unsweetened apple sauce, without added sodium or xylitol is best.

Step 4
Crack one egg into the mix!

Step 5
Mix all of the ingredients together, until everything is blended nicely.

Step 6
Using your hands, take roughly 1 tablespoon of dough and roll it until it becomes flexible.

Step 7
Roll the dough into a long stick shape. Make sure it’s not too thin or too thick!

Step 8
Connect both ends of the dough, making a circle shape. There should be a hole in the middle, like a donut!

Repeat this step until you have used up the rest of your dough. Try to make the circles similar sizes to match cooking times.

Step 9
Baste the dough circles with scrambled egg yolks to help with baking.

Step 10
Bake the dough at 375F for 12 minutes, or until golden colored.

Delicious!
