It’s that time of year again. Father’s Day!
We believe that Father’s Day shouldn’t just be for humans. So, we held a little contest on Facebook to see who is the world’s best dog dad! Our lovely friends and followers nominated who they thought was the best dog dad for a chance to win their very own World of Angus Dog Blanket.
Here are some of our favorite photo entries!
Our contest winner:
“My boyfriend, Brody Jay Wolfe! He is a dog dad to 5 amazing pooches.”
– Kayla Godejohn
“Jackie and his dad at the beach in our backyard in North Carolina. His first ever look at the ocean. Jackie is our rescue bully of 2 years. He changed our world in the blink of an eye and he is our love, heart, and soul.”
– Paula Marie Jenny
“Doug Shirley is the most amazing doggie dad in the world. We lost our shepherd today, and sat with him to comfort him till his passing. We have 8 other dogs plus a bunny. He gets up extra early for work so he has time to play ball. He goes above and beyond to make sure they are loved and treated like our kids.”
– Vicki Shirley
Shawn White and his pack of bed hogs!
My husband! He loves our girl Stormy so much! He shares his recliner with her and takes her out to the creek to play, even more on the hottest days. Stormy was rescued by my husband when she was ten weeks old. She’s definitely a daddy’s girl!
– Wendy Akers
“My husband Gene, Father of one daughter and 3 fur kids. He’s holding our new fur baby Lennon.”
– Dani Anderson
“My husband Paul and his sidekick! Unconditional love.”
– Tina Ann
“Tracy Godejohn is the best grandpaw to my furbabies.”
– Kayla Godejohn
“I’m telling you, Jarrod Medina is the best dog dad out there. He makes sure we always go to the dog park, we go on long drives and picnics, and that little Cody has his own bowl of spaghetti for dinner. Our dog is literally our baby and I wouldn’t want anyone else helping me raise him!”
– Amanda Kring
Ernie Farless and his snuggle buddy
“Donald Colvin loves his fur babies.”
– Linda Colvin
“Bowser has lots of love in his life since he came to us from a Doxie rescue. This young man has stepped up and calls himself Bowser’s dad”
– Lisa Friend
Mr. Geer and his adorable pal!
“My husband, and Dad to 12 rescues, Bruce Rogers.”
– Glenda Russell
Thank you to everyone who participated in our contest! You are all wonderful dog dads, and we wish you a Happy Father’s Day.
